Who here agrees with me that religion is a bad thing? It was just a symbol created by the desperate and destitute to explain their terrible situation. Why do we still have it around today when all it does is create controversy?

Yup! Religion is terrible. One of the main causes of war. Makes people believe in something imaginary instead of themselves. Therefore, they have less will power. Religion also hindered scientific and technological development.

Unfortunate eh...? However their religion really wasn't that bad. There was a god for everyone and anyone and there were almost no wars fought over it (at least until they turned all orthodox).
