Relations with Sparta

The Roman Empire came into being from the ashes of the felled Ultra Alliance. A menace know as the GOONS had razed them to the ground and Ulthran and his compatriot fled to NADC where they might seek shelter from them. Despite his wishes to remain protected from the GOONS Ulthran could not stand being ruled and so he left NADC and founded The Roman Empire. Soon after its creation, however, the GOONS found him once more and he and his small alliance was ravaged by attacks. Desperate to be saved Ulthran began contacting every major alliance he could find in search of a protector for his alliance. After days of searching Sparta accepted his pleas and The Roman Empire came under their protection. All was then peaceful until The Great COMECON War came about. Sparta was strongly against the war from the start and once it was waged they ended their protectorate pact with The Roman Empire. Left defenseless The Roman Empire ended the war and attempted to renew friendly relations with the Spartans. Their attempt to regain protectorate status was to no avail but a treaty of Non-Aggression, Peace, Intelligence, and Aid was brought on to the table and is being decided upon now...

But the Ultra Alliance regrew and became strong again. Aidan discovered that Ulthran founded his own alliance. The alliances became allies and the UA got protection by the Terran Empire.
